Division A Success Plan
Updated October 13, 2011
The Division plan to help strengthen struggling clubs:
By having hands-on Area Governors and a consistent and thorough line of communication between the Division Governor and the Clubs in Division A, the Division will continue to grow stronger together.
Governor Jeremy Peterson’s
plan to engage and motivate Area Governors:
With the Summer TLI being held in Nampa, and the Division speech contest held in a new location in West Boise, other clubs are having an opportunity to play host to large groups of Toastmasters. This level of excitement motivates additional clubs and lets them shine.
The Division will pursue opportunities to develop leadership by:
By having the lead-by-example mentality throughout the Division, other Toastmasters get an opportunity to see that while serving as an Area Governor or Club Officer can involve some time and energy, the results of that work on greater than any source of measurement. Watching Toastmasters achieve their educational goals, and then apply them in the workforce brings a smile to everyone in our Division A family.
The Division plan to develop new club opportunities:
Having experienced and motivated mentors throughout the Division is allowing our team the ability to spread the great news and success about Toastmasters into areas not currently served. An additional two clubs are anticipated to join the Division A family by the end of 2011.
Governor Jeremy Peterson’s
plan to assist clubs in meeting their educational goals:
If we as the leadership team can continue to meet our own personal educational goals, this type of up front leadership can do nothing but continue to motivate everyone to follow their dreams and goals.
Division A
will support Area and Club marketing efforts by:
In Division A, with a history of strong clubs, I see the Division taking a more direct and case-by-case approach to working with clubs. This type of specific and attention oriented approach will allow the Division to meet the specific needs of specific clubs versus a one size fits all approach.
The District can help Division A
achieve success by:
Just continue to be the role model and shoulder that I can lean on to keep my team motivated and inspired.

The Division Governor recommends for the Area A4 Governor:
Maria has done a solid job in visiting all of her clubs. Combining Payette and Ontatio will take two smaller clubs and hopefully build them to one solid club with potential for growth from both of these communities.
