Division A has traditionally done very well. I intend to make sure it keeps or exceeds the goals it set last year with special emphasis on outlying clubs.

Division A Success Plan

The Division plan to help strengthen struggling clubs:
Struggling clubs will be worked with to determine why they are struggling and every club will know what its resources are to improve itself.

Governor Annette Manning’s plan to engage and motivate Area Governors:
Area Governors will have clear goals but also an atmosphere of fun and playfulness. I expect my area governors to work hard and play harder.

The Division will pursue opportunities to develop leadership by:
Each area governor will be expected to encourage leadership and to be a good mentor to their assistants.

The Division plan to develop new club opportunities:
New club leads will be developed as long as it's not at the expense of existing clubs.

Governor Annette Manning’s plan to assist clubs in meeting their educational goals:
Through praise, persistence and an occasional bribe.

Division A will support Area and Club marketing efforts by:
We have a lot of talent already in place when it comes to marketing. Those people will be encouraged to share their ideas with others.

The District can help Division A achieve success by:
Recognition of outstanding talent, of which we have many examples in Division A.

Keep the momentum going from last year.

The Division Governor recommends for the Area A2 Governor:
Work on building up Emmett's numbers, keep the numbers up and the momentum going for the rest of the clubs with an emphasis on doing things outside of the club.

The Division Governor recommends for the Area A3 Governor:
More effort will be directed to encouraging each club to meet the minimum goals. I'd like to see more of a presence at outside events from some of the clubs.
