2016/2017 Success Plan for Area A1

Members of Area A1 Council, meetings and discussions:
The council shall consist of the VP Ed and Presidents of the respective area clubs. Additionally we are working with the District quality director. Primary discussion will focus on club growth and member retention. Meeting dates to be determined.
The Area A1 Council meetings are:
In the Spring on: 0000-00-00 and in the Fall on: 0000-00-00

The Plan to have 75% of Club Officers trained:
75% Achieved for the August deadline via Makeup sessions and the Summer/Fall TLI held at BBC. February deadline will focus on getting officers to the TLI and then holding appropriate makeup sessions.

The Area Director will help existing clubs grow by:
A1 will participate in job fairs and events within the A1 area. Additionally, the council will work out a plan to try and involve groups that have a value need proposition to joining and participating at Toastmasters.

To enjoy educational success, the clubs in the area must achieve Competent Communicator, Advanced Communicator, Competent Leadership and Advanced Leadership awards. Director Mathew Reed plan to assist clubs in meeting their educational goals:
As A1 director, I am working with the clubs to get their Club Success plans completed. The result of said success completion will impart be a result of the area director following up with the appropriate club officers, but also following up with the club members to see that they are staying on track for completion during the year.

Nampa Toastmasters

Director Mathew Reed expects to visit Nampa Toastmasters on 08-23-2016.

To help Nampa Toastmasters succeed, Area Director Mathew Reed will implement the following plan:
The VP Ed, Deborah Katz has been contacted to ensure we can complete the club success plan in a timely manner and make the club visit more meaningful. Club officers have been contacted with regard to events and activities in the area for participation. Additionally clubs will be contacted for inter area support for contests or locally relevant events.

Ontario Toastmasters Club No. 5398

Director Mathew Reed expects to visit Ontario Toastmasters Club No. 5398 on 08-26-2016.

To help Ontario Toastmasters Club No. 5398 succeed, Area Director Mathew Reed will implement the following plan:
Ontario is a difficult club for direct visitation. I am working with Donna Oswald to make visit prior to the August 31 deadline. I have also been in contact with Tyson Devereaux to complete a club success plan in a timely fashion. As with Nampa, cross club interaction is being encouraged for club contests as is integrating division and district leadership for event support.
